Pool Instructor / Lifeguard Position
The Town of Deep River is seeking candidates to fill part-time positions as a Pool Instructor / Lifeguard with the Recreation Department.
Reporting to the Senior Pool Supervisor, this position provides life guarding to the public and instruction in swimming, lifesaving, water safety and other aquatic programs. The position is also responsible for maintaining program records, and routine operation and maintenance at the Deep River Community Pool.
The successful applicant will have current Instructor Certificates from the Lifesaving Society, Red Cross, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard Certificate, as well as current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain. Certificates or teaching experience in Aquafitness is considered an asset.
The hourly wage for this union position is $14.83. This is a union position represented by Local 740 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
