You will be seated in a chair with an exercise ball positioned in a tall laundry basket in front of you. The class will involve listening to music and using drumsticks to move to the music. This class is instructed by Natalie who will guide you through all of the movements and modify the class to meet your abilities and fitness goals. June 55+ Programming Join Officer Brela in a practical bike safety workshop. We’ll start at town hall, take a leisurely bike around town, stop for a snack and water break, and bike back to town hall. All fitness levels welcome. There are 2 E-Bikes and 2 E-Trikes available to borrow for this event. Please call or email to ask about reserving one. Otherwise, please bring your own bike and helmet. Come to the Camp Lau-Ren Open House on Saturday, June 13 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Enjoy a free BBQ hotdog, drink, treats and s’mores. Tour a camper’s cabin, check out the beach on the Ottawa River, make a craft and climb the Rock. A children’s summer camp of the United Church of Canada, Camp Lau-Ren is accredited by the Ontario Camps Association. All children are welcome. Two and six night co-ed camps are offered for children aged six to fifteen years old including a two night co-ed camp for 6 and 7 year olds and a girls’ camp.
