Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County - Free Education, Support and Programming (Posted Feb. 17, 2021)
Dear Elected Official:
The Canadian Institute for Health Information reports that unpaid caregivers of people living with dementia are more likely (45%) to experience distress than caregivers of other seniors (26%). As the Ottawa and Renfrew County support organization for people living with dementia, and for people caring for people diagnosed with dementia, we know that caregiver distress is at an all time high.
We ask that you please share the information below with your constituents though your newsletter, social platforms or directly. We are available to help with free education, support and programming.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any information or questions.
