Forest Management Plan & Recommendations

The Forest Management Plan is a 120 page report prepared by the County of Renfrew concerning Deep River's street trees, urban forest patches, and large forest areas. The bulk of recommendations are geared towards Town staff; however residents are encouraged to assist with invasive species (found on page 27 of the report) by taking garden waste to the landfills and/or pulling and disposing of plants that match the descriptions.

Of particular concern is garlic mustard found near Lamure Beach.
