Deep River Fire Ban Lifted
The municipal fire ban for the Town of Deep River has been lifted as of 9 a.m. today, Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Recent rainfall and improved weather conditions have lowered the risk of wildfires to a safe level. Open-air burning is now permitted for residents who have a valid Town of Deep River Burn Permit and are in accordance with all applicable town bylaws.
Thank you for your cooperation and vigilance during the ban. Please remember to continue to exercise caution and follow all fire safety guidelines.
