NOTICE HYDRANT FLUSHING EXTENDED
Please be advised that the hydrant flushing program will continue through November in the East End of Town.
Flushing is part of a routine maintenance program that is necessary to maintain the integrity of the water system, remove sediment from water mains, verify the proper operation of hydrants and valves, and maintain firefighting capability.
Residents throughout Town may experience a drop in water pressure and water may be discoloured due to flushing of the distribution system. If you have discoloured water please run your COLD WATER TAPS ONLY (suggested taps: outside hose, bathtub or laundry tub) until the water is clear.
Please DO NOT use your hot water until you have clear running water again.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete this essential maintenance to ensure water quality and system reliability.
