Toys, Trains, Textiles, and Bake Sale

Save the date! On Saturday, Feb 3rd (10-4) and Sunday, Feb 4th (1-4) St Barnabas will host Toys, Trains, and Textiles, an exhibition of models, toys, and handmade textiles, with the theme of children (of all ages) and play. As Dickens said in A Christmas Carol "for it is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas, when its mighty Founder was a child himself." Upstairs textiles will be displayed - soft toys, baby blankets, childrens' and doll clothes, under the care of Caroline Lee. Downstairs will host models (trains, planes, ...), toys and Cub cars, PLUS a bake sale. Admission will be by donation, the proceeds being equally divided amongst North Renfrew Family Services, Deep River and Area Food Bank, and the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund.
