Wednesday, September 7th, 2022

The Community Registration/Information Evening is a great way to promote your community group and provide information about your organization

This year, the Community Registration/Information Evening will take place on Wednesday, September 7th at

Mackenzie Community School in the Double Gym from 6:30- 8:30 pm.

Door will open at 6:00 pm so you can prepare to set up your table.

 (Table and chairs will be provided)

All community groups/organizations wishing to participate are encouraged to contact

the Recreation Office at 584-2000 ext 103

or email - carmstrong@deepriver.ca

As clubs and community groups confirm their attendance, the Town will update their participation

on the Town of Deep River’s website and Facebook page.

SFC Seniors Active Living Fair

Seniors Active Living Fair The SFC's Seniors Active Living Fair will be taking place Thursday, September 29 from 10 am until 2 pm at the Deep River Legion. The fair is developed in partnership between the Older Adults Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) and the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA) with a focus on activities that reduce social isolation, support seniors’ mental health, promote active and healthy living, offer social engagement opportunities, highlight partnerships, independence and learning for seniors. There will be speakers, exhibitors, demonstrations, and even a fashion show. Everyone, including family members and care partners, are encouraged to attend this free event. Please check our website (seniorsfriendshipclub.ca) or our FB page (SFC UOV) for the exhibitors and the times of our demonstrations. We have put together an action packed event for you. Bistro 86 will be providing the healthy snacks for our fair. You won't want to miss it!
