Community Improvement Plan
Grant Opportunities
The Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is a tool used by the municipality to assist in community revitalization and in achieving economic, community planning, and urban development goals through encouraging private-sector investment. The Planning Act allows municipalities to offer financial incentives, in the form of grants or loans, to assist with the cost of eligible community improvement work to achieve the community improvement goals.
There are a variety of grants available for businesses located in the CIP Project Area (see map below). Grants are open to property owners and businesses.
A brief overview of the grants available through the CIP program can be found here: CIP summary booklet, and the full application package is available here: CIP application package
All programs are subject to funding allocated by Town Council on an annual basis.
If you are interested in learning more about these grants, please contact Christian Kaiser to discuss your application.
