NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND PUBLIC MEETING
NOTICE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Subject Lands: Part of Blk S, Plan 304, in the Town of Deep River (Montcalm Street), as shown on the attached Key Map.
Public Meeting: A public meeting to inform the public of the proposed zoning amendment and receive public comments will be held in Council Chambers at the Town of Deep River Municipal Office on May 20th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment
The purpose of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to add the following provisions to the Residential Four – Exception Four (R4-E4) Zone:
The rezoning will also remove the holding symbol from the subject lands.
The effect of the amendment is to rezone the subject lands from Residential Four – Exception Four – holding (R4-E4-h) to Residential Four – Exception Four (R4-E4).
Additional information regarding the Zoning By-law amendment can be found in the files listed above, which are also available for inspection at the Town of Deep River Municipal Office during regular office hours.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Deep River before the by-law is passed by the Town, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Deep River, to the Ontario Land Tribunal, and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
