To Whom It May Concern;

Please be advised that BEI will be starting work on MTO Contract 2025-4049 on the week of May 11, 2026. The work under this contract is located on Highway 17 from 0.5 km west of Bass Lake Road (Point Alexander), to 0.3 km east of Plant Road (Chalk River). The work being completed includes resurfacing Highway 17 as well as drainage improvements.

From 300m west of Ridge Rd (Deep River) to the east end of the Contract:

The majority of the work in this area will be completed during the hours of 6:00PM and 7:00AM by utilizing single lane closures Monday to Friday. There will also be limited daytime operation on the Highway shoulders Monday to Friday, and single lane closures between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM to facilitate the contract work. The work on Highway 17 within the Town of Deep River will not start until late July 2026.

From 300m west of Ridge Rd (Deep River) to the west end of the Contract:

There will be daily single lane closures in this area (Monday to Friday) to complete the work.

All contract work is scheduled to be complete by the end of October 2026.
